I think it is coherent if the group identify themselfes like that, and they are identified by others like that. In the US most white guys will say "Im white that is my heritage" and blacks will say "You are a white boy, or fuck you white boy". So in America it makes sense. But it is a political identity, white nationalism is indeed a political identity, it is based on some truths, but it is not clinical.

Ok, but white nationalism is a failed political movement is it not ? Aren't white nationalists consider terrorists under the Biden administration or something ? Can a white nationalist be president of the USA ? Trump in interviews said he was not racist.

Using your logic black people don't exist either, because there's no consensus on whether Khoisans, Somalis and dark skinned Arabs like Yemenis are black or not. Moreover mulattos are seen as black in USA, in Africa not necessarily.

Uighurs are an asian ethnic group minority that are brutally oppressed the the Chinese majority and Chinese people are a hated elite in Taiwan like Jews are a hated economic elite in the West. The black Hutus slaughtered the black Tutsis or something etc... So, are these concepts are political rather than scientific how useful is it politically ? Is ethnicity and social class more useful politically and sociologically and if so how are 'white' or 'asian' or 'black' coherent and lucid concepts or in how they are useful concepts ?
