Karelia has never been a part of any Finn state to give it back to Finland. It became Russian through natural wars, should we return it to Sweden? Only weak ones return something, it usually does not happen voluntary. It's not about being pro or against war, that's just a natural order. Everything "returned" in humankind history was a result of wars.

Finns hardly dream anything else. For Russians that area means ''Southern Karealia''.

For example the city Viipuri, Vyborg, Viborg had always been Finns city (even as Swedes created it 1293). Until WWII.

Actually Russian leaders proposed to give it back in '90s, for a reasonable price, but Finland saw that it would be too expensive to build again.
