What about French and German women? Do you think it is more popular/enticing for younger women and girls because of the fashion industry?

Can you envisage a time when smoking is marginalized/almost invisible in Spanish society? i.e. majority would call the few who do smoke 'weirdos'
I'm not sure, but it seems like it's converging to a fixed level rather than zero. Perhaps the majority of smokers will have less reasons to smoke and only the addicts will continue smoking if the price of tobacco increases due to taxes.

Average price is 5 euros (150 euros/month for a daily smoker). How affordable is that for the average smoker in Spain?

It would be 150 euros a month if they are smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, fkn human chimney.

    That's not affordable.

Just look at the Balkan statistics, most of those consumers were and are youths who likely started smoking in high school.
The Youths should be indeed focused, and i dont think increasing tobacco products will stop the smokers from smoking..its just too much of a need.
Do you notice current teenagers smoking less compared to previous years? I have seen statistics suggesting smoking rates are actually increasing amongst some groups (e.g females) in Croatia and especially Serbia.

It has been part of the Jewish leftist propaganda to push cigarette smoking as a sign of woman's freedom, emancipation, glamour-chic

"Torches of Freedom" was a phrase used to encourage women's smoking by exploiting women's aspirations for a better life during the early twentieth century first-wave feminism in the United States. Cigarettes were described as symbols of emancipation and equality with men. The term was first used by psychoanalyst A. A. Brill when describing the natural desire for women to smoke and was used by Edward Bernays to encourage women to smoke in public despite social taboos. Bernays hired women to march while smoking their "torches of freedom" in the Easter Sunday Parade of 31 March 1929,[1] which was a significant moment for fighting social barriers for women smokers.

Do you think this phenomenon is currently happening in more developing parts of the world (patriarchal, Islamic etc.)?

Lebanon is an extreme example but the gender gap is closing fast amongst younger age groups in most other countries.

The gap is narrowing in every new generations because the global worldwide trend, is higher female education, higher participation in the workforce, higher gender equality, lower birth rates, meaning making women more equals to men in terms of lifestyle, and not just "uneducated stay-at-home mothers".

This trend occurs also in the Muslim world, even if it may seem still patriarchal and "backward" for Western standards, it is rapidly changing compared to 50 years ago, analysts look at trends, dynamics, and have prospective vision, and not just looking at one-time situation

The Lebanese case is normal since it has the largest Christian, educated community in the entire Arab world. The Christians are relatively more gender egalitarian than Muslims; but their high number and influence on Lebanese society, makes Lebanese Muslims also relatively more "open" and gender egalitarians than other Arab-Muslim neighbours.

Less looked down upon in Europe from my experience. I'd say it's less socially acceptable in Canada.
