Northern ostrobrothnia

Although my message can sound a bit emphasizing my target has been to add knowledge about the local history on various platforms. My aim has not been to boast,.but also not avoiding to tell facts. I
see very little interest in North Ostrobothnian, Satakunta and Finland Proper histories, pretty much hullabaloo about Southern Ostrobothnia, Karelia, Savo and Tavastia. There are like two categories of Finns.

Well why should it be talked? I mean obviously it can be talked, but boy o boy talk about weird jealousy. Especially as we are now in English speaking platform, what reason would non-Finn have for some interest in local history of some Finnish sub-region? Most likely such person would be some freak weirdo. If you were student of Yoda, Yoda would give you a big fat fail

By the way, speaking of giants, in the seventies they found a burial ground in Kostamus (Soviet Union) where everyone was huge behemoth. Unfortunately a dam was being built over it, so they had to cover it up, and leave it be, and now its buried under water. I made thread about it but unfortunately tinypic has destroyed the pic of the skeleton

Didn’t you also have a rune singer ancestor from Ingria?

Did the Kiveksenkylä Robbers also rob Saami? Were yous the Vainolaiset/Chudes?
(We really weren’t, we married into the Saami instead).

I am not proud of how the Finns treated Saamis, but if you read the book I already mentioned, maybe you will have an idea.

Sigh. Look like I'm surrounded by Ostro-drunk barbarians. Where do you think those folk-hats etc suggest this could be from. Scenery doesn't look Pohjanmaa, but I'm no expert on folk hats. I guess this could be filmed in Tavastia tho

What, do you get drunk from buttermilk? Scenery was authentic Bothnian and there was not hats. Finally, Bothnians don't drink Koskenkorva Vodka because everything is sold. Bothnian salesmen sell even your grandma for a reasonable fee, which would be 200% in this case.

My father has once been guest of Altia Koskenkorva factory.

In the evening they had dinner as well as sauna in this place (close to the factory).

Inside of sauna (dressing room) they had 2 normal looks beer tabs, but opposite to normal (getting cold beers or cold limonades to drink) .... those tabs only gave you warm pure Koskenkorva. I bet Harkonnen would loved that
