It's said that Shaheed/Geran production facilities are already functionioning in Russia. I mean, there's nothing to debate about, there are two options, Russia being out of missiles and drones or Russia keeping on the same action or even increasing it, which will be the answer for us I mean we hear for too long period how's Russia wasted everything in one day, week, month, half-year. Or how the Kiev is totally covered by air defence system, until the first raid.

Imagine wasting a whole air defence missile which costs 100-150 times more expensive than one flying moped called Shaheed/Geran. Imagine when it's a swarm of Shaheeds, a dozen. So, it's often not done at all, no interception, but policemen or army men trying to shoot them using their personal guns if it's a daytime.

The Flakpanzer Gepard is supposed very efficient at destroying these, swarms or not. There is always a solution to most problems.

Ok. Even just stable supplies of ammo for such stuff to Ukraine needs united and clear will of lots of foreign powers. Considering that Shaheeds are hitting the targets frequently and successfully for 2+ months all over Ukraine, means there is no significant undercover or public supplying at the moment. If I'm not mistaken there are few tens of Gepards on the territory of whole Ukraine which is barely enough to cover space of any Ukrainian region. Most of those they have now, they received some 3 months ago, before the massive attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. And considering further supplies, it cannot be 300-500-1000 units which simply do not exist in such quantities, but same tens of units. Every Gepard has a 4000m shooting range, so some 100 of them can cover the space of Moldova (probably, not), but not a 500k km2 state with cities and infrastructure spreaded all over its territory. They can protect some exact infrastructure, but they won't save all power plants, command centers, railway hubs, bridges etc.

I've noticed a lot of populist Youtube videos and articiles in media definently targeted on Ukrainian masses, trying to convince people that it's some kind of new Wunderwaffe, which will decide everything, just like Bayraktar and Himars were before. It probably considers that average person does not understand how huge is Ukraine, how far the Gepard shoots, for what purposes they are designed and how much of them are in Ukraine. Just show a person random thing hitting other thing with a proper text.

The first option for effectiveness, difficulty of interception and power at medium ranges is a rocket, a guided missile or long-range guided artillery ammunition.

There are several strategies for drones. I believe that the Russians use the same as Iran (saturation attack with drones), but their lower firepower must be considered

The point that "western" media holds is that no matter how many Russia had when it all started, it cannot replace them at the rate they run out, because it does not have essential components for guidance etc...since they used to arrive from the West or from countries that signed up to the embargo.

The Russians are preserving their aircraft and guided missiles for aircraft. For the western media, it is enough for Russia to use a Soviet-era missile or an s-300 defense missile adjusted for attack that will say that Russian missile stock is running out. From recent attacks I would say no, but the Russians seem bad at strategic military targets.

Yes, they are cheaper and they can be used in greater numbers, but they are easily intercepted.

Are small and most radars are not configured to detect small drones. Machine guns have limited range. Best system for these drones is Iron dome Israel (which only Israel has in large quantity), as long as they are configured for Drones, since rockets have a ballistic flight curve.
