I sympathize with Ukrain, EU and Russia can stab anyone any moment both are too powerful for me to sympathize. But one can not take internet opinions too seriously, just for fun and some reference. Yea, the issue is quite serious, that is why do not take internet too serious, refugees are running, people are fighting, most people have zero to absolute zero idea of what is happening including most people who are fighting on the fronts. What is happening meant to happen, peoples opinions have miniscule influence on history.

I'm not saying this because of your Chinese flair, but this is a defeatist attitude that is popular in dictatorships when people accept that they cannot change anything. This complacency is shared with people who suffer from depression and resign to thoughts of "come whatever may come, we all die anyway".

No, what you wrote is not true.
According to the Russian census of 1897 and many subsequent censuses (including Soviet ones), not only were Ukrainians the majority in present-day Eastern Ukraine, but actually Ukrainians were also the majority in Kuban Region - which today belongs to Russia.
In 1897 Kuban Region (area: 92,429 km2) had 908,818 ethnic Ukrainians and 816,734 ethnic Russians - Ukrainians were significantly more numerous as you can see. Kuban should be given to Ukraine.

All credible sources show an even split. And nobody should ask the peasantry on things that the peasantry doesn't have the mental capability to comprehend. They will 100 times out of 100 pick the populist option. Members of parliament receive mandates from people to represent them. That's it. It's not their problem that some decide not to turn up at elections. That's also a decision and complacent one at it. As long as the voting is not compromised and falsified, that's enough to be considered fair and the desire of the majority of the people.
If enough people don't like one thing or the other, they will topple the government or if the country is more civilised and mature they will themselves resign.
