Doesn't matter. The point is the situation is different to Ukes. Russia launched genocide against Ukes because Ukes were planning to join NATO or didn't lick Russian butt or whatever. Not because NATO was arming Ukes with nukes.

By the way does it even matter nowadays where you keep those nukes when you have submarine launched nukes. I'd imagine those are the real threat because you don't know where they lurk or where they are been launched. I'd imagine if joes made offer to ivans to decommission their sub-nukeboats in exchange for placing nukes in ukieland, Russians would gladly take that offer, because that way you could at least pre-emptively try destroy those nukes by spotting them on satellites or whatever, and then go for it.

Discussion about SWIFT is sometimes misleading. It is an old European wire transfer code which is under Belgian laws. Ruling out someone can be done only in a Belgium court. Actually it is a relict from the time before Euro. Now it is replaced by IBAN, also European design, and we don't need SWIFT any more. Today the SWIFT code is only for people outside Europe. SWIFT calls still for clearing in both ends. IBAN transfers money straight from account to another. If Russia is excluded from SWIFT, they can still transfer and receive money, but the clearing needs more time. Maybe they found banks inside Europe making it.

It was about the sovereignity of Cuba to chose a buddy and agreeing to have that missiles installed. The same sovereignity that is claimed for every NATO country.
