This miserable tik-tok legion is used again after a long period for media picture to distract attention from the disaster on the frontline and to show some "victories". Lots of Ukrainian influental speakers already question is it ok to waste Western supplied stuff and lives of Ukrainian soldiers (which are not used officialy, but in fact lots of them are there) for a picture like they do now instead of using it in real war in the South-East. That's practically useless attempts to enter the Russian regions they don't even have a goal to conquer or hold em, just some of them wanna die and get busted, now all the Ukrainian trashbin level media will be victoriously talking about random villages for some 24 hours just to disappear for a long period again from the media. Local special forces were quite happy to meet them because they're prepared well for such stuff long ago.

I just wonder what influence on elections it may have. If you were Ukrainian you sound like their turbo patriot freaks on whom even Ukrainian soldiers spit. It's not a bad tactics. They are trying to tie down Russian troops in that border area and prevent them from moving to a real frontline as reinforcements.

There are not much Russian troops down there and they're based there permanently since summer 2023 for such cases + territorial defence. As for army size, by average, Russian army gets 1-1,5k new soldiers on contract daily since the start of 2024.
