Yea, one of tribes which migrated down there. They have weird lifestyle, living practically in ruins of Soviet cities, foreign investments are forbidden by law, half tribal society of criminals, car-jackers and veggie/fruit growers (their only export). With help of Russia they could enjoy being a one huge sea resort, but they don't allow anyone and anything to enter their republic in case of business. They were famous with wines, now it's a total crap - they buy wine product from Moldova and make wine from it in Abkhazia. It's a place for wild tourism for Russians, even tho we don't like each other, there are no cases of violence. They could earn much more than Montenegro ever did on tourism, nature is perfect there.
