We are in state of war so obviously there are fake news flying from every side in extreme fashion. So personally I take everything with a grain of salt. The source was Daily Beast claiming Vladimir Soloviev saying so in Evening with Vladimir Soloviev. I can't now remember if I've seen it myself. I saw one clip where some Russian MP was explaining some bonkers idea to nuke Nevada nuclear testing site in USA as warning and demonstration of Russian nuke capabilities.

So yes I guess it is possible it is fake.

Where is the evidence they are Russians ? I have seen dozens of Videos filmed by Ukrainians themselves where Ukrainian Volksturm militias killed civilians or even themselves because they thought other units are Russians

Ukraine has inherited from the Soviet Union lots of mobile anti-aircraft missile launchers (several hundreds). They are 30 yo but still can easily bring down planes that fly high. Add to this thousands of MANPADS, Soviet and Western, that are deadly for low flying aircraft, particularly helicopters. Russia has already lost about a fourth of the fleet they allocated for this conflict.

Ukrainian numbers for Russian casualties are inflated by a factor of 5-10. The airforce losses are less than 20 if not even in the single digits if you exclude drones. Indeed Russians were careful with using jets and attack helicopters because of the outdated but huge ukrainian air defense system but most of it is suppressed and destroyed now so Russians use their air force much more active now especially in Donbass.

You're living in a fantasy world. I've seen pictures of more than 100 downed aircraft with Russian markings. Do your research, don't expect others to do it for you.
