Then you forget something about Serbia in 1998: Serbia had ignored several UN Security Council Resolutions for a cease- fire and to hand over those responsible to the Tribunal in The Hague. They were ignored and NATO saw no other option but to act in defence of the Kosovar civilian population and international law.
