Default All the battles and wars between Portugal and Spain throughout the ages (966-1807).

Because Spain consists of multiple historical Kingdoms for the past 1000+ years and Portugal began as a small county that fought against multiple Spanish Kingdoms, there are included the battles fought by Portugal against Galicia, Leon, Castile, Aragon and of course, Spain itself.

First Fernandine War was won by Castilla, the video is wrong. Castilians defeated Portuguese in Lugo (Galicia). Portugal did not gain any land in Galicia, which were going to be part of the dowry of the wedding between the Portuguese king and the daughter of the Spanish king. Since that wedding was not celebrated, those territories remained Spanish.

In any case the goal of the three Fernandine wars were a try of the Portuguese king to conquer Castilla. He failed the three times. How in hell Portugal could win that war if that did no happen??

You are right, although in the end of the first fernandine war and the peace treaty of Salvaterra portuguese borders were expanded.
