A moderator told me also by private message that if I continued discussing a certain topic, they would have to ban me.

In my case I was defending the possibility that what is presented as Italian admixture in the Jewish references was not real Italian heritage, but simply an effect of the G25.

I proposed the above thesis, based on the hypothesis that the Sephardic Jews of Spain and Portugal had to have a considerable "Iberian" admixture after more than 1000 years in the Iberian Peninsula just before and after their expulsion in late 1490s .

I didn't get banned because I controlled myself, and decided to leave that thread.

The tone of several members of that forum who participated in that thread was offensive and in many cases provocative and contemptuous, but the one who was warned that he continued down that path would be banned was me.
