Btw northern part of Hungary had been Ottoman vassal for 3 years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princi..._Upper_Hungary
Dude, Hungary was transformed into a pashalik, and ruled by a Turk (most of the time). Stop comparing Hungary with the Danubian principalities relative to the Ottomans, their situations are not similar in any way.

Ukrainians call the current war as an "war of independence" even though Ukraine is an independent state. Suzerainty comes in many shades. However, the administration defines the borders of a state. Ottomans never administered Wallachia or Moldova.

In fact, most Balkan countries established they own independence movements in the Romanian principalities, simply because the Ottomans didn't have the legal authority to counter them.

Not all of Hungary became a Pashalik. Eastern Part of Hungary did not and was also a vassal state. Later it became Principality of Transylvania which was ruled by Hungarians (more than it was ruled by Romanians). Northern part of Hungariand kingdom (current Slovakia) wasn't pashalik either.
