They can hate Muslims all they want. They seem to forget their own ancestors were Pagans and probably hated Christians just as much. Personally I consider secular Bosniaks to be European. Naturally those terrorist, religious and extremist Muslims are not European.
Bosniaks had hard times. Their ancestors had to accept Islam because there was imperialist Ottoman Empire. Anyone in Balkans could be Muslim in these times. I do not blame them.

Don't know where Damjan is common among South Slavs but Saint Damian was from Syria, a pan-Christian saint and a relatively common name here (also Damyan in Russia).

Very likely that the name utterly comes from ancient Greek Damon but that's uncertain.

In Armenian sources, his name is spelled as Դամիանոս and it is pronounced as Damianos
