These are the two Pontic Greek proper samples, for anyone interested, with certified ethnography linked to the Empire of Trebizond and the post 1462 era of fleeing Trebizondians.
Anything else circulating on the web (including G25's references who were supplied by a Turk with the nickname of Theodore of Trebizond, owner of the Black Sea blog) that deviates from these 2 can be considered as suspicious and usually the product of butthurt.

Pontic1 is G25001. The rest are provided by the Turk I mentioned, and I suspect they are just Turks from Trabzon. I also suspect, after talking to him and seeing how much he hates Armenians, that he wanted a reference between them (Turks in Trabzon) and Armenians, hence the Greek_Trabzon wedged in between. If you notice G25001 is not inside the original cluster.

Interesting. Yeah, in older Gedmatch oracles, Pontians would be a bit closer to Armenians for example but in G25(still kinda closeish) they'd be a bit more distant. Actually, you can see this same issue with the Assyrian average as well- it has 2 or 3 kits that are mixed with Georgian_Meskheti and one where you can model as 25% Georgian. Makes you seriously wonder who is submitting these coordinates and why Davidski posts them without vetting them.Pontic1 is G25001. Pontics being very close to Armenians (and the Laz and, of course, the Hemshin) is historically accurate because the Empire of Trebizond, especially in the (post-1204 A.D.) successor state era, is essentially a Greco-Armeno-Georgian kingdom, in both its population structure and its ruling royalty (Queen Tamar was instrumental in her role of capturing Chaldea for the Komnenians, for example).

I'm guessing this retard also realized he forgot to mention some BS about Armenians in the title and that's why he made this 2nd thread, since his intention is to portray Pontic Greeks as Armenians. Total fucking loser and you can be sure the guy won't post again on here just like all the other accounts he created.

Τραβα να καταπιείς καναδυο λεξοτανίλ γιατί με τόσο χρόνο ονλαιν να μαλώνεις με ακροδεξιoύς γειτονικών χωρών προφανώς το χρειάζεσαι.
