No way is Italy more diverse in landscapes and Geography than Spain
Spain has the most diverse landscapes and geography in Europe (excluding Russia which is 4/5 in Asia) by far

Really hard to choose, I love really both, two of my favourite countries. But I think I give the edge slightly to UK. So UK.

I like aspects of both. I like italian food and italian classical music, and i like british modern music and british sports. I follow the premier league and i also follow the snooker season, which has been broadcasted on eurosport for years. But i have as much interest in rugby or cricket as i have in turkish oil wrestling.
I speak moderate english but portuguese is a romance language that was influenced by latin because of the roman empire. England has also been important in history of Portugal in a positive way on more than one ocasion.
I have visited Italy but not the UK.

How in what? Mopi was talking about landscapes and geography, there is no more to debate about his assertion.
While Italy only gets Med and mountain geography (Alps), Spain has that same (Med and Pyrinees) + all the Cantabrian-Atlantic one (cliffs, wild ocean, wild winds etc) + even some deserts + Canary Islands which are a wonderful landscape itself and absolutely unique.
Of course that Spain is more diverse.

I like a lot the UK for its refinment, gentlemen, posh English, "British phlegm" but against Italy, unfortunately for them, no way
Italy is literally the best country in the world, in fact, it's the epitome of racial and spiritual Mediterranean supremacy in the world :
- Great history (greatest empire in history : Ancient Rome, then Renaissance, Venice, ...)
- Most beautiful race (gorgeous women and handsome men)
- Great minds (Julius Caesar, Augustus, Cicero, Virgil, Marco Polo, Columbus, Amerigo Vespucci, Garibaldi, Galileo, Giordano Bruno, Leonardo Da Vinci, Machiavel, Mussolini, Volta, Fermi, Umberto Eco, ... they also invented modern accounting (Pacioli) & banking)
- Great culture (both classical, like Vivaldi, and modern music, opera, Verdi or singer Pavarotti or Boccelli, literature - Dante, paintings (Michelangelo), cinema like Fellini, Sergio Leone, Pasolini, ...)
- Great architecture (accross the entire history)
- Beautiful language
- Great climate (Mediterranean)
- Great food (pizza, pasta, tiramisu, and so many others...)
- Great lifestyle (epicurean "Dolce Vita", relax "Farniente", elegance & style "Sprezzatura", soulful, warm people, family-oriented, charming and romantic with women, intelligent)
- Great clothing & fashion (Armani, Prada, ...)
- Great football culture and clubs (Squadra Azzurra, AC Milan, Roma, Napoli, ...)
- Great cars (Maserati - my favourite luxurious brand -, Ferrari, Lamborghini, ...)
- Respect for being the center of Catholicism (Vatican)
We do not drink Coca-Cola three hours before a match
