Well I am afraid that utopias of any description don't really correlate with the real world. There are plenty of men who are not in the least bit interested in politics or economics, and yes more than a few men are driven by emotion over reason and even in some cases are not very patriotic.

Btw, one of the first countries in the world to grant women the vote was New Zealand. To my knowledge, it is also the only country to have had three female leaders (including the current one). And yet in many ways it is the epitome of decency, probity and good governance.

Well that's why they're weak and insignificant in the world stage, regardless of how "decent" or "good governing" they might be. Last time I checked during this past plan-demic they were sending people who didn't want to get jabbed to concentration camps and/ or making their lived miserable.

Well it is a country of only five million. Compared to most countries of a similar size, it is definitely more influential, whether in sports, politics or culture. And while some of their responses to covid were indeed draconian, it has meant that the number of deaths per capita is well below most other countries, and in any case they are opening the border now.
