For example, I am 1.78 tall and I have friends who are around 1.85 and the hight difference between them and me is not considered as significant at all. However, height difference between people who are around 1.70-72 and me is very obvious. Do you agree?

What? Anything below 1.80 m is manlet tier. If you're below 5’11” for a man it does not matter how much muscle you put on or how strong your chin is. Taller guys will be able to height mog you even if they are lankets.

It's rather the opposite. The height difference between a 1.90 person and a 1.95 person seems more than the height difference between a 1.80 person and a 1.85 person.

Depends on the culture. I've observed the Anglosphere is particularly obsessed with height (as well as race).
