Btw Huracan is a weird team. Won a league once, seemed like the "sexto grande" for a while and have a HUGE stadium. But now they're probably less relevant than Lanus, Banfield and Colón, just to name a few.

Buenos Aires has this cool phenomenom. Teams that won leagues, Libertadores and World Championships and yet can't fill half a stadium. Argentinos, Velez and Huracan.

You would not think the same after 90 minutes standing up in a stadium for a game of Estudiantes vs Barracas Central on a 28-team round-robin. Yeah, the "Copa de La Liga" is quality, but the other semester is very boring tbh.

But I like the idea of two championships of the same value in a year. We all know that squads in South American football only last for 6 months, especially smaller teams who get predatory purchases from bigger rivals, but the overseas sales too. So it's more just than a full season tbh.

Buracán es el CESTO grande. Siempre fueron unos mediocres, equipo chico que tiene que sumar campeonatos del amateurismo para querer chapear con algo. Lo peor de todo es que ese delirio de que son el "sexto grande" surgió de una publicidad de cigarrillos y estos caraduras se agarran hasta de eso para querer vender esa mentira (además de la encuesta que hizo en su momento el diario Olé, donde los bosteros votaron por Buracán, solo para hacernos la contra a nosotros) jajaja.
Lo único grande que tienen es el estadio, que dicho sea de paso, desde hace décadas que les queda gigante. No lo pudieron llenar ni siquiera en la final de la Sudamericana, que fue su primera final internacional, ya eso te dice todo. Para el clásico con nosotros de hace unas semanas, tuvieron que regalarles entradas a los bosteros para que los ayuden a llenar la cancha.
Este año seguro se bordan una nueva estrella en la camiseta para festejar los 50 años del único campeonato local que ganaron en más de 100 años de historia.
