Do Germans hate freedom ?

Currently, German freedom is impeded by American overlordship. Germany is a vassal of the United States, and is not allowed to have an independent foreign policy or even economic policy.

The German economy's competitiveness is based on cheap energy from Russia. But now America has forced Germany to cut that off. No more Nord Stream 2. Or even Nord Stream 1. Therefore, the heydays of German economic dominance in Europe seems to be grinding to a halt. And I guess that is why Olaf Scholz is so frustrated.

That is because Germans only respect the man on the block with the big stick. I think Teddy Roosevelt said "carry a big stick and speak softly". He was of Dutch extraction so knew how to deal with Germans when it came to foreign policy.

Respecting and obeying the big stick wielding entity does not sound like freedom loving to me.

I don't think it's that. It's not respect, more like fear.
