Default Were Australia and New Zealand considered parts of the new world?

I believe that only America was considered a new world due to its isolation from the rest of the continents, however some history articles also grouped Australia and New Zealand.

Technically they can be called that because they're not the Old World, but the term has never been commonly used in English to describe them. More often the Antipodes.
    Spoiler!

Did they have an English term to describe them?

Their wines are labeled New World and that's all that matters.

Yes, the wines are categorized as from the new world, also the wines from South Africa.

New Zealand is about as isolated from any habitable continent as its possible to be. Even North America is closer to Asia than NZ is to Australia.
