They are among the more brunette British people, but still as a group far from looking like Mediterraneans.

Dark hair is indeed more common in these people than in other British people, these pictures seem to stay true to anthropological maps. But obviously they don't look Mediterranean usually. I see significant similarities to Belgian people btw.

I've been. They don't look Med. I also know a lot of Cornishmen outside Cornwall and they're fair.

Rubbish!!! Cornwall is not more Mediterranean than Germany. Cornish have actually a paler pigmentation than Germans. This was just some biased propaganda nonsense.

The Cornwall belong much more to the Iron Age Nordic race than anything else. The frequency of blue eyes in Cornwall is higher than that of France, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany. So how Mediterranean is that? The frequency of blond hair in Cornwall is higher than that of France and Belgium as a whole, let alone Southern European countries such as Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia, etc.... The truth of the matter is that Cornwall has a lower frequency of blond hair than a few eastern English counties but it isn't the darkest either as previously believed.

The frequency of blue eyes in Cornwall is 35% which is the lowest in the British Isles. When compared to Italy (10.3%), Portugal (7.5%), Spain (11.75%), France (20.2%), Switzerland (28%), Belgium (28.9%) and Germany (30.20%).

That is nonsensical map! you don't know how the classifications were made based on that map. Do you?
50% Mediterranean? Come on, smarten up. Even France is not 50% Mediterranean, so how in the world can Cornwall which more Nordid in race than most of France be so Mediterranean? Please think.

Yes, they might be one of the darker British people, but they are still too light to be in the Mediterranean group.
