Schon dürr aber ist ne Überlegung wert, besitzt du Kunst aus dem 3. Reich?

Hatte länger wegen einer dieser Statuetten überlegt, als sie bei 1 bis 1,5 lagen. Habe aber eine Büste vom Führer mit kleinem Marmorsockel, insgesamt viellecht 25 cm hoch. Ansonsten habe ich nur ältere Gegenstände. Z. B. sammele ich Silbergegenstände aus dem 17. Jh, weil ein Vorfahre Goldschmied war und die Arbeiten durch die persönlichen Meisterzeichen ihm noch heute zugeordnet werden können.

Funny! I just now went around and made pics of our Ludwig Dettmanns (Sorry for partly bad pic quality, also due to reflections. There may be better pics of them in the internet from the respective auctions.). In the order of purchase (the last is above my bed):











I have to admit that only the first one of these is partly mine, the others belong to my wife (!) that I managed to "infect" with an interest for this.

I consider also Carl Malchin (1838-1923) very skilled. He de facto was the court painter of the grand duke (Großherzog) of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, though he never got that desired title.

Of course the intruding Peterskas destroyed this after the war like the Taliban destroyed the big Buddha statues in Afghanistan.
