This is btw what is demonstrated to the world time after time: Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya are flattened, while nuclear powers like Pakistan and North Korea are dealt with very considerate. You obviously need nukes to be respected at all by super powers.
Good luck for managing to get countries to refrain from nukes in the future…

In a case of war it's useless thouh. The Austrian army is close to non-existant. If neutral, one has to be able to defend oneself, but thats not the case.
Neurtality has a huge support in Autrian society, like +75% - few things we more agree on. The saying goes: "We are surrounded by friends" - who our friends border with we don't give a fuck.
ÖVP politicians however often look towards Nato, just like "slimy wease" ( I like that, but Kurtz was way worse) Nehammer and parts of the Army. NEOS (liberals) keep dreaming about a EU Army The left and right are pro Neutrality. All agree to not spend sufficient money on the military.

It's not restricted to a few Polish politicians. In Poland there is a notable concentration of not thoughtful, but impulsive, proud and notably fantasy-driven people. Just think about Peterska today.
After the Entente re-established Poland in 1918 it has been Europe's "enfant terrible" till it got surpassed by late Hitler Germany in early 1939. It was disliked much by the English who restored it. Poland didn't care for the ethnic determined Curzon line, but conquered and kept all of interwar Poland that was east of that, eventually making up roughly 50% of Polish state area. Poles had conflicts with basically every neighbor, besides Germany and Russia with Lithuania and Czechoslovakia as well.
From the aspect of the self determination of people - a commonly new accepted view in global politics after WWI - it was a very questionable thing to forcefully divide the German people against it's will by splitting off the German parts of Austria and also German Danzig. (It was far more German than today Hamburg, Berlin and Vienna.) However, in the question of Danzig and the possibilities to pass the newly established so called Polish corridor Poland got backed by (interested in an continental European conflict England) and Poland in August 1939 was completely off the track and seriously fantasised about conquering Berlin. No Alice-in-the-Wonderland-like imagination was too way off for being followed by the public opinion. As we all know Poland was conquered by the German Wehrmacht within 3 or 4 weeks and that's it.
As for WWII Poland was just a free rider of the Soviet victory over the German Empire. But in the Polish school atlas of history (szkolny atlas historyczny) from 1988 at the end of WWII the Polish flag is beside the Soviet one on the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin ( ), see attached pic. There are no limits for mingeling fantasy and reality.
So the today Polish political behavior of being not thoughtful, but impulsive, proud and notably fantasy-driven is the Polish mindset that we have experienced ever since.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12
Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.
