She's depigmented but features are Indian. Indians have Steppe ancestry so they don't need to have some recent European ancestry. A dna test would be interesting as anything is possible. Feature wise though she looks Indian.

I actually would be willing to bet she doesn't. She has a very Indian name i.e. she isn't an Anglo-Indian for example.

Agreed. She looks like a depigmented Indo Brachid, nothing else. I don't particularly find any reason to suspect recent European ancestry. Redheads and blonds are extremely rare in India, but it is very much possible to find such individuals without European Ancestry.

Her mom also seems to have distant british colonial era ancestry.
