Why did Serbia vote against Russia in the UN??

He is a western puppet and mentally unstable person. His destiny will be probably like of Gaddafi. Serbia is under the internal economic and political western occupation since October 5, 2000 and every government in the last 22 years is western puppet.

His criminal party got 42.3% on the elections few days ago, but only 58.7% of people votes who have voting right.

Numbers 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are right-wing patriotic parties. Together they got 17.7%, and if they were in coalition i believe they will be about 20%. Slavic "brotherhood" is as much a myth today as "Germanic brotherhood" was in World War II. In fact, it's our enemies' speciality to play us off against each other.

There are no people more anti-Russian than Poles and Western Ukrainians. Poles especially seem to suffer some kind of acute, irrational Russophobic mental disorder.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that his country has been pressured under the threat of sanctions to back Russia’s suspension from the UN Human Rights Council.

Belgrade has close historical ties with Moscow but joined other Western nations this week in a vote against Russia in response to its ongoing military campaign in Ukraine. “Our initial decision was to abstain, but then we were subjected to countless and difficult pressure,” Vucic told RTS TV on Thursday.

“They said - do you know that a decision is being made whether Serbia will be exempted from the package of sanctions on [Russian] oil, and whether it will be able to import oil after May 15?” the president said. He compared the possible effect of sanctions on Serbia to “a nuclear strike.”

Unlike the EU, Serbia has not imposed any sanctions on Moscow. “The Republic of Serbia believes that it’s not in its vital political and economic interests to impose sanctions on any country,” Vucic said, while stressing that he wants to maintain good relations with the European bloc, as well as with Russia.

“People ask why we didn't vote against or why we won't abstain. But if we abstain, one and the other will be against us, the pressure will become even greater. At the same time, today a decision is being made about the fate of Serbia - whether we will be an exception to the package of sanctions on oil right today,” the President of Serbia said.
Vučić recalled that the sanctions previously adopted by the European Union allow Serbia to import oil from anywhere until May 15, and “then not from the Russian Federation, nor from anywhere else, because Gazprom Neft is the main owner of the Oil Industry of Serbia.”

Because Serbia lives from western money and aid. EU is biggest investor and trade partner with Serbia, they bring 10X more money to Serbian economy than Russia does.

Serbs are pro Russian but at the same time they are not willing to cut western investments and aid. Only remains to be seen how long they will be tolerated to do that-sitting on two chairs. They had big protector in Angela Merkel but she is gone and eventually they will have to chose a side. Same applies to Orban btw (but it's different since they are in EU/NATO) In short, Serbia is fucked.
