I really admire Anne-Laure Bonnel. She is really a passionate, upright and honest journalist. She has a lot of courage because she goes to the front and she also has a lot of biased detractors who besmirch her image. It's not easy to handle that. She is also a devout Catholic. Her coverage of Donbass conflict, since 2015 (see her film Donbass, 2015), has been praised by Serguei Lavrov. She has also covered the war in Nagorno-Karabakh and people must watch her movie Silence dans le Haut-Karabakh (Silence in Nagorno-Karabakh), on a conflict where the Armenians are the victims of horrible crimes, a conflict which is still going on and which is shamefully kept quiet.
