I was surprised that there were no previous talks about these elections here. Radical right has now a real chance to get one of the most important political positions in European Union!

I assume that you like to vote radical right / against Macron? Well, it seems that Marine Le Pen has the best chance. Macron - Le Pen polls are almost tied, and there is even one recent poll predicting Le Pen victory with 50.5 % on second round.
    https://atlasintel.org/poll/france-national-2022-04-07
And usually radical right gets more support than polls predict, as some people don´t like to admit in person that they support it.

Another popular radical right candidate, Éric Zemmour, has been successful to collect over 100,000 party members in just a few months. He has done good field work, and probably his supporters will also vote for Le Pen on second round. But he doesn´t have large enough support yet, and would probably lose against Macron.

So my recommendation is Le Pen.

First round id vote for Zemmour he is aware of political theory and switching the overton window.

If he would miss the 2nd round, id vote for the lesser evil then.

As said, it is Macron - Le Pen. On Sunday of next week.

Latest polls (last 3 days): Macron 52-55 %, Le Pen 45-48 %. Le Pen would maybe still need a little more.

Is this how she can get it?

Le Pen said that she wants to tighten relations between NATO and Russia after Ukrainian war. She opposes sanctions on Russian gas, and doesn´t want France to be "American protectorate".

By the way, good achievement from Zemmour to collect 7 % of votes in his first elections.

The only way to reach 50% is to get enough LFI votes (21% on the 1st round), which is some kind of anti capitalist left. They of course hate Le Pen but they also hate Macron with a passion, and economically they have more things in common with MLP. Unlikely she ll get enough, even with Zemmour and Dupont-Aignant electorate, it's just gonna be closer than last time.

Legislatives are anyway more important, which is where the laws really get passed in the national assembly. She has a better chance to be able to block Macron's majority there. Vote is in two months.

i have heard than an consequent rate of LFI voters are ready to vote for her, maybe not the majority but a certain rate ,a kind of everything but not Macron, even a few legal immigrants from maghrebi and african countries,it's even something surprising

i can just applause and agreeing more than that with the iconic left wing Tatiana Ventôse

Actually support from LFI voters is quite surprising. But LFI could be considered left-wing patriotic.

And it seems that many French are totally tired of Macron. It was already seen in Gilets Jaunes protests, where radical right-wingers and left-wingers marched together, against common opponent (Macron government).

Le Pen support is currently 44-48 % in the polls. Worrying thing is that it has slightly decreased in latest ones. This week will show how it turns.

This is because the vertue signaling medias quickly shifted back their attention onto her after being on Zemmour in the last 6 months. She became again the reincarnation of Lucifer at 20:01 the night of the first round.

If I were French I would abstain from voting. Neither Le Pen("extreme right wing" lolololol) or Macron are anything close to what I would want.
