Sweden vs Czech Republic

My decision cannot be impartial because in the Czech Republic I have been and in Sweden I have not; although in Spain I had previously known the Swedes plus what you see or know about the countries from the media throughout your life. I have the impression that the Czechs are more twisted than the Swedes, it does not move me much to decide for any of the two, but I think that finally I will decide for Sweden.

Czechia wins hands down. Mentality wise the single best country in all of europe, in my opinion.

Harsh, but fair and usually well-traveled and cultured. I am also inclined to prefer CzR even if Sweden is richer. Politics is shit in both countries, but I prefer centre right wing shit over left wing nonsense.

Swedes are a pleasant people in individually, though. The high alcohol restrictions, though... Czech also win there. I can always import Belgian beers too, though probably would be able to import more from Sweden.

Part of my ancestry hails from Bohemia, though I hav no idea if its Slavic Czechs or German-Bohemians, anyway, I would vote Czech Republic,.

That would depend on the region and the period. But it's generally the case that the further you go from the borders of Germany/Austria, the less Germanic ancestry the population has.

As for the OP, the answer is obvious in my case.

Yes, amongst other things, but its not that religion is anyhow forbitten or restricted - I definately would not like that. Just don't expect to be taken seious when starting every sentence in a discussion with " the bible says" or "Jesus said".
Exept for migration they are very liberal and trust the Czech induvidual to make the right decision.
When here in Austria a mandatory vaccination law was pushed through, the Czechs quickly repelled this idea because they deemed it would cause too much damage in splitting theCzech society.

These are assumption based on my point of view of only a Polish person who never been abroad and make a little research so if I am wrong about something let me know

Pros for Sweden:
It has sea access
It is more prosperous economically,
People seem to be chill after you know them better(not like some Czech Magnolias).
Infrastructure is on higher level in Sweden, but it good in major Czech cities as well.
The society physically seems to be more healthy as well, they keep fit(ofc many Czechs too but I find it's more of a rule in Swedish culture to keep fit).
Sweden improves the regions more equally whereas in CZ it seems more like everything goes to Prague and maybe sometimes some bigger cities but not really anywhere else.
Sweden has more well known brands, IKEA, Scania, Jula, Volvo, Absolut, whereas Czechia is like beer brands and Skoda.
Also, they are neutral, it may change soon but as for now it is still true statement.

For Czech Republic:
More pleasant cuisine(but also not so healthy - look at obesity rates in CZ)
They are closer culturally to Poland than Sweden.
I heard bad stories about Swedish taxes so I guess this one is also a pro to Czechia as well.
Their location is also better it is close to Vienna area, Germany, not so far to Hungary etc whereas Sweden is the destination only to Norway, Finland or Denmark(and still by bridge) if you use land transport and the cities are closer to each other unlike in Sweden where trip from Goteborg to Stockholm will take much longer than from Prague to Brno, so the size of Czech Reublic is here a pro in my opinion cause it's closer everywhere.
Lover crime rate especially if we compare cities
And there is no systembolaget(public shops being the only place where you can buy alcohol with strongly limited hours of being opened) like in Sweden

Things I find similar: good national hockey teams, historical cities, much opened natural space, both have some inventors and good music

All in all it is 8:6 for Sweden in my view but ofc each person has a different point of view and we will consider different aspects

I've spend alot time in Prague or near Prague because my mom worked there several years
And because I have alot of friends from CZ

But I like SWE too, not though as CZ.

Isn't Slovak your mother tongue though? Not like it makes a big difference anyway, these two languages are almost indistinguishable - lol.
