Default Bullshit excuses used to justify the racism of non-whites (either by themselves or silly leftists)

Latin Americans: "we are not racist, we are classist". (When explaining e.g. why Black and Amerindian people are often forbidden from entering certain nightclubs and even sometimes shopping malls. They cannot see that assuming all Amerindians and Blacks are poor is itself racist).

MENAs and South Asians: "we are cultural and religious supremacists, not racial supremacists". (When explaining e.g. why girls from their communities are often at best shunned and at worst murdered for having White or Black boyfriends).

East Asians: "we are not racist, we are innocent and ignorant". (When explaining e.g. why foreigners are often pointed at and stared at in those countries, and worse still when certain venues in Japan in particular have "No Gaijin" signs).

Racism is bad regardless, against white and vice versa.

The no Gajin sign is blown out of proportions. Most of the issue is with Japanese's English, it is very rudimentary to say the least in general. The vast majority of employees won't be able to serve you in English, unless you manage to convey what you want some other way by pointing or showing something which happens as well in other countries where they don't speak English very well or you don't know the language. That's why some signs say you have to be accompanied by a Japanese to enter, personnally i ve seen those but not the "no foreigners allowed" alone. Lastly, many shop's names are ironically in English (yet make little sense, like "Dream of paradise" or "Hopeful ice creams", even worse in Korea)

There were also more black people than i imagined and they were all men, even in south Korea, it was very surprising, there were about as much blacks than European whites roaming the nightlife streets, that's not much but still more than i imagined. Apparently they already managed to make a bad name for themselves there.

It depends, sometimes they can be excuses, some others don't.

Your Latin American example perfectly describes the fallacious view of some Brazilians regarding racism in Brazil: "we're not racists, but classicists."

And it's not like one excludes the other.

Both are present and can overlap, but Brazil being very classicist doesn't exclude the fact that it's also racist.

Just because Brazilians are majority mixed and lacked racial segregations like in the US or South Africa, it doesn't means it's society is immune to racism.

Brazilians are majority mixed because in the primordium of colonization, there was a lack of Portuguese females in the colonies, also add the practice of cunhadismo, in which the best way to explore new areas untouched by Portuguese was to marry Amerindian females in order to gain the trust of the Amerindian "authorities" and facilitate the colonization of inland areas.

But it was never the intention of the Portuguese to create a mixed race society in the tropics, neither they were more prone to mix with the Amerindians and latter inported black Africans because of their previous contact with Moors (as Gilberto Freyre claimed)...

but simply because they had a low surplus of Portuguese females, and the same happened in South Africa in the primordium of colonization, and they didn't have contact with Moors and the biracial nature excude that would make them more used to race mixing.

After we became independent from Portugal, racist eugenics discussions and projects that were on rise in places like the US, UK...

... also found a fertile place to grown here, and while we had positive eugenics (the problem of Brazil being the low quality of it's sanitary conditions), many intelectuals also supported the negative one, a.k.a claiming that Brazil would only become a civilized nation with a whitening aproach, to dilute and make it's majority non-white pop of colonial origins dissapear trough mixing with the recent European immigrants.

    Probably true.

African Americans are ashamed of their role in the society throughout history, and those trying to act tough against whites do it from the feeling of insecurity.
