These fancy easter eggs were made by the technique known as egg-shoeing(hun. Tojáspatkolás).
According to Hungarian oral traditions, egg shoeing was invented by village blacksmiths to prove their skills by creating an egg which was shod by miniature horseshoes. Basically they use lead as material to put on egg shells since it's easy to shape it. The motives put on eggs are usually horseshoes but it could be any motive from everyday life, or something connected to folklor.

The record of horseshoes put on eggs is over 1100 horseshoes on the egg of ostrich.

Of course as many other traditional stuff, this technique is currently in decline due to the decreasing number of blacksmiths, so it's good to be able to watch these eggs yet, so here are a few more.
