Default Do Mestizo/Native/White dominated LA countries generally regard Mulatos and Tri-Racials as "Black?"

I'm talking about countries devoid of Afro-descendants such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, etc. Is it a general rule for Mulatos and Tri-Racials to be seen as "Black" or "Negro" in your country?

Here's random examples of Mulatos and Tri-Racials from Latin America to show the range of people who fall under the umbrella.

This isn't meant to make you categorize the people listed but to ask if Mulatos and Tri-Racials in general are regarded as Black or "Negro" in your country(preferably outside the Caribbean, Brazil, and coastal Colombia.)

Sometimes ? If they have more Afro like features and dark skin I guess, but if they don’t then usually some people cons order them mestizo of if they look white they’re just white.

Indios would just lump the Spanish, mestizos, and lighter-skinned triracials/mulattoes together.

Most dark-skinned 50/50 mulatos are probably considered black everywhere outside of places that have direct contact with full Sub-Saharans and the comparison with full blacks is impossible. The few light-skinned mulattos are probably considered white by most Latin Americans since Latinos outside racist forums often go by skin tone.

About triracials and other types of mix that depends on how they look like, duh. Someone that is 70% Amerindian, 20% black and 10% white will probably look vastly different from someone that is 70% black, 20% white and 10% Amerindian. Posters here act as if common people were capable of figuring out what is a ''mestizo'', a ''triracial'', a ''quadroon'' and whatever else with their respective admixtures in day to day life.

Many Mulatos are light skinned. Mulato just means someone with a mix of European and African ancestry. It doesn't have to be 50/50.

Someone who's 65% European, 35% SSA is technically Mulato just like someone who's 65% European and 35% Native is technically Mestizo.

I was referring to people of 50/50 origins. Technically the terms for someone with the ancestries you described are ''Harnizo'' and ''Terceroon''. Real one time admixture mulattoes or Mestizos of no multigenerational ancestry never resemble Europeans, but Harnizos and Terceroons sometimes do.

I understand. Funnily enough, when the "Royal Family" drama was going down, a lot of White British were put off by Americans(especially woke ones) labeling Meghan Markle a Black woman. Meghan Markle is a 50/50 Bi-Racial.

Peru and Ecuador do have a good number of Afrodescendants.

And in most of these countries it is by skin color, never that mulattos with that appearance and color would be considered black.

But darker mulattos like these guys will definitely be considered black.
