I have seen photos of all of my great grandparents on my father's side and two on my mother's side. I don't know if my maternal grandfather's parents had photos of themselves. I didn't interact with them much. I think I met only one of my maternal grandfather's brothers. All of my great-grandparents I mentioned had photos taken in the 1920s.

Grandparents, yes. Greatgrandparents only on my mom's side. I have one dated photo from 1925 from a cousin of my great-greatgrandmother from my father side and one of her and her sister from the 20s too.

I have photos of my great grandparents and I think almost all my great great grand parents, if not all. My mother's side has some photos but not as many as my father's side, they have kept hundreds of old black and white photos. Some photos date back to before the 1920s and what is interesting is that back in the day they used to sometimes add colour to photos by hand.

Photographs barely existed when my great-grandparents were around. I have some of my Slovak family in Chicago in the 1930s, though.

Some days ago I asked my father whether we have pictures of his paternal grandmother, he said yes but he has to find it haha. Also I asked the same about his paternal grandfather who died very early at a time when photos weren’t common in Turkey, but it seems even photos of him exist somewhere at the house of my grandfather. My mothers paternal grandfather died very early too and unfortunately there aren’t any pictures of him. But yes I have photos of my other great grandparents and mothers paternal grandmother. Unfortunately photography wasn’t common in Turkey, I can’t say which picture is the oldest, maybe from 60s?

Las más antiguas de mis trastarabuelos maternos. Paterna hasta una tatarabuela.

The oldest of my maternal great-great-grandmother's parents. Paternal to a great-great-grandmother.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

On my paternal side I have seen photos of 2 great-grandparents and a great-grandmother. On the maternal side I have not seen any, although I think that some family member may have them.

My father's father asked to be cremated with a photo of his father, which was always hanging on the wall in a room of his house. (He was cremated only with the photo, not with the frame obviously).
