I have highlighted the minority of such constituencies found in the South of England (including London itself) to show the substantial divide that exists between there and everywhere else when it comes to education (and also income and social class). Also of note is that some of these constituencies are very White, such as those found in South Wales, Merseyside and Northeast England, while others are very multiracial, such as those found in London and the Midlands cities.

"16-64" - what kind of age group is that? At 16 people are still in school. Areas with high percentages here may just be areas with high % of young people. An age group like 30-64 would make more sense.

16-64 is regarded by the government as the "working-age population". That is why it is used in this measurement, for good and for ill. Also, at 16 people can already have GCSEs or vocational qualifications.

100 constituencies in this list, versus 144 constituencies where the percentage of adults aged 16-64 with university degrees is 50% or more. (Some constituencies do feature on both lists).

Just a couple of corrections: Scunthorpe is in Yorkshire & The Humber, not Northeast England; Great Grimsby is in Yorkshire & The Humber, not East Midlands.
