    Connection in which sense?

Yes, there is connection between Uralic and Turkic peoples.
    - Linguistic similarities between some languages (connected to Proto-Turanic)
    - Genetical similarities, like high prevalence of haplogroup N for both groups.

My personal thought is that Finns and Turks can be compared with Russians and French (not very similar). It also proves that Finns are not fully Europeans. For Estonians and Hungarians, it is different thing as they have largely mixed with European peoples.

    Depends on people.

For Turks, most common group is actually J (some 30 %). N only 3-4 %.

    N frequency is higher for Turkic groups in East and North (Kazakhs 7 %, Mongols 11 %, Tuvans 24 %, Khakas 41 % and finally Yakuts 88 %). And to Uralic direction Nenets 97 %, Udmurts 85 %, Eastern Finns 71 %.

Q is rare type linked with Native Americans and in Eurasia, existing mostly in Sibiria, but also common for both some Turkic peoples (Turkmens 50 %) and Uralic peoples (Selkups 66 %).

According to the Turkish DNA Project, N haplogroup frequency among Anatolian Turks and Balkan Turks are 10% and 11% respectively as for the J haplogroup its 18% in Anatolian Turks and 14% in Balkan Turks.
