The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) says the virus does not usually spread easily and the risk to people is low.

Most of the cases so far are in men who are gay, bisexual or who have sex with men.

UKHSA says people in these communities should be alert to unusual rashes or lesions on any part of their body, especially their genitalia, and contact a sexual health service if they have concerns.

Possibly, it is the consequence of cross-species sexual tourism. What happens in Africa quite clearly does not stay in Africa.

I'm no expert in orthopoxviruses but perhaps we should all lockdown immediately. Mask everyone, require monkeypox vaccines now or no job, release our small dick energy again, the greatest generation won't mind since they've been rolling in their graves for the past two years, and to listen to public health officials and our trusted politicians. Only way we stay alive.
