We'd have to find how many of those still remain.

Before I even donate a single cent to Ukrainians, I give a homeless person in my city a meal or buy toys for an orphanage.

What would you know about any situation outside your own? The homeless here are homeless by choice. Recently, a govt report showed that the majority of homeless here have homes to go to. They choose that lifestyle.
Incomprehensible, I know. Mental illnesses at play.
Nine out of ten concerns are completely unfounded.

If you follow that logic, Ukrainians have chosen the war by electing Silensky.

You dont need to take the homeles example as excuse to not understanding the message of us, there are enough people in need of our own communities that should be a priority over strangers if you have a healthy and normal mindset.

    Completely right.

Here in Croatia, entire region has been ravaged by devastating earthquaqe recently. Local people there still live in makeshift housing or containers like animals.
While government is competing with how to take care more of Ukrainians, while our citizens live in deep povetry and without roof above their head.

    disgusting

Also that's why celebs like Angelina Jolie adopted kids from Cambodia and Africa, it's much "cooler" and better PR than to take care of one or two American children at home.

Zelensky ran for presidency in 2019 with a promise to implement the Minsk Agreements for two separatist regions.

It's not the fault of his electorate that he didn't fulfill his promise.

That is the situation in your homeland as you see it. It isn't necessarily the same elsewhere.

Look how long they did not made any investments and cut our retirement, welfare etc. just to handout every fund to refugees.

That is presented as normal and healthy in the west, look after strangers first and do it on the expense of your own community, that makes you a good global citizen, I spit on that.

And also probably less bureaucracy and (whisper it) more corruption involved adopting from poor countries.
