See what I wrote above. I support much of the Green agenda (notwithstanding their hysterical attitudes towards nuclear energy), but the types who dominate Green Parties are a weird mix of both hippies and snobs (oxymoronic as that might sound).

They actively destroy environment.

I visited Berlin in autumn (and surrounding). Landscape is completely destroyed by monstrous windmills and extremely ugly solar panels (and there is no much sun there lmao )
these windmills destroy fauna like birds.

You can't hear birds singing anymore, just unnatural silence and sound of nasty windmills like after nuclear fallout.

Renewable energy does and will have to play its part in making us less dependent on fossil fuels, but it should be combined with nuclear too, which is where I disagree with most Greens.

I am personally not in touch with them (recently moved to rural area). But I heard a lot from people who are, who actively deal with them, help them, provided them housing and similar.
In Hungary I saw many Ukrainians, including filthy rich refugees with luxury cars.

The demographic and social implications of this mass move of ppl westward are going to be enormous.

Solar panels make sense in Med, not northern Germany. I will put some on my house. But there, they cut forests to put this shits there, where insolation is really weak.

do you support destruction of nature? Greens should protect nature. Windmills destroy birds living there plus they are extremely ugly and soul-crushing.

Nuclear energy is cheapest, cleanest and most productive way of fullfilling your energy needs.

Green ideas make you poor and damage the nature they ought to protect. And, they produce absolutely below minimum of energy.

I have long realized that you have some kind of fetish with Africans but I assure you that welcoming Ukrainians to Portugal is not about whether they are white or not but about the experience I have with them in Portugal over the years. They are not as unstable. Ukrainians are currently the second biggest immigrant group in Portugal and the jails are not packed with them, I advise you to check with whom they are packed with.

That's why Germany depends on Russian gas. No nuclear, no LNG terminals, and their useless windmills and solar panels don't produce even half of their needs.
And they never will, unless they plan to turn entire country into windmill/solar panel graveyard.

It's shocking how good they did in NRW elections though, especially since this war made green transition agenda look suicidal and idiotic.

You shouldn’t be confused about this, only 55% turnout where I would question the legitimacy of such results. People are depressed, protest parties like AfD and Linke massively lost voters, last one is becoming irrelevant in Germany. You can choose under the map „Wahlbeteiligung 2022“ which shows that only around the half of the voters did vote. CDU also won and I don’t understand why, but again, nearly 50% of the people didn’t vote.

I agree with a lot of the Green agenda, but the trouble is that Green Parties (including here in the UK) are usually dominated by middle and even upper-class types who can be quite out of touch, and also are surprisingly laissez-faire regarding immigration considering (1) their putative wishes to reduce global movement for the sake of the environment and (2) the socially libertarian ideas many though by no means all Green types have hardly accord with most non-Western immigrants, to put it mildly.

Its basically the same here. This party is probably who has most members with migration background(alongside with Linke), but most migrants don’t vote for them. I don’t like the Grüne, I believe in climate change and ecological issues, and I hope we will solve this or invent new technologies to become independent of fossil energy sources. But the way how they wanna solve it and their other agenda is nonsense.

He basically explains that at the current pace of economic growth and energy consumption related to it, we would need EVERY YEAR the equivalent of a hard "COVID" lockdown like March-April-May 2020 (two and half months), just to keep current status quo... not even reverting global temperature increase. He says it is virtually impossible to keep our level of economies with "renewable energies", it's either accepting a de-growth (which means giving up part of our material comfort) or do just virtue-signalling fake "green" marketing that will change nothing significantly.

The only way to make it more smooth is to open a lot of nuclear power plants, which is the only large-scale source of "carbon-free" energy. And yet, you see dumb environmentalist political parties in Germany or elsewhere being so much against nuclear energy...
