I mean people used to buy apartment on loan, rent it daily over season/summer and payed it back in like short time, in 7 years or so. After that they had like 2.5 average salaries. But unfortunately construction has gotten too expensive even when we take corona crisis and Ukrainian-Russian war in consideration.

OTOH I guess similar case is in other countries and average salaries can still be used for comparion.
In some cities it's like 1000 EUR apparently. It's still better off than Greece considering Greece is more expensive compared to average income.

So they are that open by now. While who really "looks suspicious" to many of us is indeed Klaus Schwabe.

But that is completely irrelevant data that itself tells almost nothing.
I saw it on Numbeo but I don't know https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-livin...ountry=Croatia . Says 900 . No its not the only thing, it lists prices for rent, groceries, electricity etc for countries, cities etc based on user submission

It's above 1000 eur now, but they also forget to mention that there is large inflation and prices of groceries/gas and similar are massively rising. So not a gain.
Average salary says little because it's average of earning of for example, people with minimum wage and CEOs who earn 20k eur per month.

Something like mean wage is more realistic because it measure salaries of people who are vast majority (sth like 80%) with extremes (good and bad) excluded.

I have already done my choice ;-)

Quality of life in Switzerland is incredible, probably one of the best in the world.
