There are five parts of Europe.

Western Europe: Ireland, The UK, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany

Northern Europe: Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Faroe islands, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia

Central Europe: Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, Lithuania

Southern Europe: Portugal, Spain, Italy, Malta, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Cyprus, Turkey, Romania

Eastern Europe: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova

I've never been, but i think Western Norway would be a good fit for me. For the climate, fjords, and safety.

snowy winter, long warm summer.. a large biodiversity of flora and fauna, various climates and landscapes, sparsely populated areas, best fertile soil(which means you won't suffer from starvation unlike the other parts after the logistic network collapse), fuel and energy resources(oil, natural gas etc).. yeah this is eastern europe which i won't change to any mentioned parts of europe

all sunny shores should be part of Southern Europe on the map as well, including Russian and Ukrainian Black Sea shores.

so I go with Southern Europe 7 times out of 10, be it the shores of Black Sea (Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria) or of the Mediterranean (Greece, Italy, Croatia, France, Lebanon). or even Atlantic (Basque country in both France and Spain).

2 times out of 10 I'd go with Western Europe, specifically Netherlands, for their orderly communities and open minded liberal people (real ones, not the new left wave).

1 time out of 10 I'd go with Northern Europe, specifically Denmark or southwest Norway, not the others, for pretty much the same reasons as for the Netherlands.
