What cannot be done is to try to take advantage of an alliance only when it suits us and benefits us, and as soon as there are problems, leave the group.

When one is in an alliance, one has privileges and obligations, and one thing implies the other.

That would be the critical part about "Brexit", on the other hand, I perfectly understand the criticism of the EU. Especially in the loss of political independence of the nations that compose it.

Anyway, you're gone now, you got what some people wanted in the UK, so why don't you stop messing around and at least behave like decent allies, and stop interfering negatively as if you wish the EU would disappear?

Everything related to your exit from the EU was and is like a self-fulfilling prophecy. First you create problems so that everything goes wrong, then you say: "Look, everything is all badly planned and they treat us badly, we have to leave" and now that you are out, so that people do not regret Brexit, you continue creating problems, because if the EU worked well, you would look like idiots.

As the second biggest net contributor to the EU budget, the UK was indeed special, but unlike, say, Germany, the biggest contributor, what benefit did we get out of EU membership? The right to have millions of people come and live here, driving wages down? The right to have our waters fished bare by the French? The right to have our foreign policy decided by a bunch of unelected elites in Brussels?

For as long as the EU continues to impact on British politics, we have a right to try and weaken it.

The EU is used to push for globalist and neoliberal policies that usually would not pass in most countries in Europe.

It leads with establishing censorship laws, aims to define human rights to include sexualization of minors,abortion and transexuality, Frontex does nothing to stop refugees from entering, it also pushes for a brain drain in east europe.

The costs of bureaucracy are insane.
The amount of pairlamentarians that miss every parliament session is insane.
The amount of lobbyism, backdoor politics and lack of democratic ways to stop laws from passing are also insane.

Overall a insane union, glad for the Brits that they left, hope they will be successful and be a beacon of hope and example to make more nations leave.
