Conspiracy theory. He was anti-Marxist and was even stigmatized by French intellectuals due to that, plus his views on power relations are absolutely incompatible with Marxism. I've read a lot of his books, have you at least read some too?

Hooton divides Neanderthals in two types: the conservative type, best represented by La Chapelle-aux-saints. He calls it gorilloid-like. And the progressive type, which would include Amud among others.
