I only have 1 who is puerto rican with a different surname. His most distant paternal ancestor came from saint thomas and was already mixed. Said to be born around 1800 according to a death certificate.
My lineage is traced a bit farther back then his.
My direct paternal lineage likely didnt mix until the early to mid 1800s because my ancestor that was in the cabinet was there in 1813 but was born in 1769. He was the youngest of his siblings. His father was likely born in the 1720s because his first child was born in 1750.

Why? What's the connection? The most famous in the modern era would be Martin Cahill known as The General. There was a movie made about him with Brendan Gleeson acting as him. He was assassinated by the Provincial IRA in 1994.
