    I've never seen it. I did see Veronica Guerin which was about an Irish crime journalist who was murdered by Irish gangster John Gilligan. Cate Blanchette acted as her and that was quite good.

    The General was a good movie. It probably mixed truth with BS as is typical of movies about real people but it was enjoyable.

    I descend from Brian Boru, Robert the Bruce, Somerled, and the first Stuart kings through a few lines. This means that I'm about ten millionth in line to each crown or chiefdom.

    Most probably every Irish person descends from Irish Kings and Brian Boru especially anyone named O'Brien. Even Queen Elizabeth is said to descend from Brian Boru and from this she is also descended from the O'Neills and the Fitzgeralds actually multiple Irish families.

    Most of the great Irish gangsters wore Members Only jackets. I'm sure James Coonan and Mickey Featherstone were sporting them in 1983 here in the states.

    The Path to Bath?

    I'm the wandering minstrel of Meade,
    A castle of much kingly seed,
    Whom, awakened one night,
    Saw the Lord's holy light
    Where a sacred sound uttered:
    Son Meade be not shuttered,
    Withholding thy gift from my flock;
    Though be-est thou booed a few times, remain bidden:
    Sit darting thine eyes and unlock
    Their lids with thy waves for that voice ever hidden.
