Slovenia proves itself as a top civilization again. probably best country to leave a peaceful and civilized life with good economics, safe streets, beautiful landscapes, mild climate, all in a small territory where you can visit easily for the weekend any corner of the country if you're there

As is often the case, the US is very much an outlier in the Western world. The range of non-Western countries to make the top 50 is a curious bunch: Singapore, Japan, Bhutan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Qatar, Taiwan, Kuwait, Ghana, Costa Rica, Botswana, Indonesia (!), Mongolia, Laos, Sierra Leone (!), Uruguay, Chile, Vietnam (!) Also of note is how 'totalitarian' China is more peaceful than 'democratic' India, and how Cuba is more peaceful than many other LATAM countries.

With a Gini coefficient of 0.24, Iceland's income inequality after government taxes and transfers is the lowest among OECD countries.


Denmark has been noted as having one of the lowest income inequality ratings in the world and has been known to maintain relative stability in this metric throughout decades past. The OECD data of 2016 gives Denmark a Gini coefficient of 0.249, below the OECD average of 0.315.

This list is obviously a farce, clearly politically biased. One clear way of telling is by looking at Canada...a country that terrorises its own citizens and tramples on freedom. Plus send weapons to conflict zones (several "extremely peaceful" countries on the list..).

USA is a failed country, typical American pattern. It stills kicks just because is a recent country. Its future is exactly the same than the rest.

Small countries may exist as "independent states" only if they're in sphere of some bigger state or union. They're either directly part of some other state or totally dependant on it. Slovenia is nothing without EU and NATO so it exists only being part of bigger entity. Nothing based about them.
