because white color is associated with femininity, and darkness with masculinity.

men tend to be attracted to lighter females and women to darker males.

Of course these are just general trends and are not accurate for every person, and there are thousand other factors that play in what you deem attractive or not.

I think it's very rare to see White European men with MENA women, but this is probably due to cultural and religious reasons more than anything else.
Apart from George Clooney and his Lebanese wife Amal, I can't think of another example at least in the celeb world right now.

Also White men/Black women couples seem to be pretty rare, as well.

Apart from that, I haven't really noticed that.

If you mean interracial, most white men do not find negresses attractive. That's why the rarest combo is White man and Negress. More white women would date black men for whatever reason. In white couples, men with dark hair are generally seen as more attractive than blonde men.
