Isnt true communism when there is anarchy and no government authority?
Not sure if this is correct
But also none if these governments achieved real communism because
Communism is democracy at the work place. When the workers all share and run the company. A workers co op is closer to that idea of communism.
The managerial class isnt technically a proletariat
What you had was kind of socialist based countries.
The USSR was pretty successful for a while. I mean people knock the soviet union for collapsing even though it did well for nearly a century but they dont blame capitalism for the fall of ukraine neither. Or somalias poverty.
Bolivia was doing well but the US backed some coup supporters against evo morales before
I dont like much of what the US does politically. I only like some rights i have here as a citizen compared to many other countries.

The USA with its proxy wars , war mongering , hypocrisys etc etc certainly has many a flaw. But at least its somewhat possible to be self critical and voice a critical oppinion publicly as a journalist/citizen without the fear of being jailed or poisoned. Im not certain the same could be said about Russia.

Neither are very desirable but, if the Libertarians and the "Bill of Rights"/small government/anti-interventionist Republicans can form together against the globalist/intersectionalist feminist crap, I would have to back the US.
At the end of the day, they've been a better, more progressive empire than even the British. They've basically allowed much of SEA to develop through their outsourcing of tech back in the late '80s and developed China and Japan from the ground up.
They would have lifted India out of poverty too but, the Indian elite had other ideas (more socialism). Aside from the questionable issues around their propensity for coups around the wold (not as bloody as other empires, though), I think their huge technological and scientific contributions to the world are beyond compare.
If empires must exist (and, well Islamists, Chinese, Communists ... lots of parties would seek to fill the void, should the US collapse), best to have an empire with some good values and externalities. Also, love rock, folk, blue grass and country music and the '80s!
