Apparently somebody shot at civilian aircraft while it was landing from Zagreb on Sarajevo airport.

Sarajevo is denying the incident.

A plane of the Croatian airline Croatia Airlines, which landed at Sarajevo International Airport last night, detected hull injuries that could have been caused by firearms. An investigation is underway and the circumstances of the incident are not yet known.

The pilot of the Croatian plane reported hull injuries after arriving on the runway of Sarajevo Airport. According to unofficial information from the Croatian and Bosnian media, the damage was caused by gunfire.

The case has been reported to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, and an investigation is under way. “After receiving information that the regular inspection of the plane at the Sarajevo airport, which arrived from Zagreb, showed hull injuries that could have been caused by firearms, the prosecutor on duty ordered an investigation,” the prosecution said.

They added that the safety of passengers was not endangered during the flight, and a detailed inspection will try to find out the cause of the damage to the plane.
