For what it is worth (1) the figures for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland remain far lower and (2) even in England's case, once you take out London the percentage of ethnic minorities would drop quite a bit too.

Well, France forbids any collecting of stats based on ethnicity. I am sure the US (and Canada and Australia) would have similar censuses carried out though.

I meant England rather than GB. Scotland and Wales are irrelevant to me, and I dont dislike Ireland.
